Riverwinds Triathlon
The Riverwinds Triathlon is a multi-sport event held in West Deptford, New Jersey. The competition utilizes the Riverwinds Community Center as a base, featuring a swim leg in an indoor pool followed by outdoor biking and running segments. Participants can choose from several individual and team formats.
Available event categories include:
- Triathlon: A 200-yard indoor pool swim, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
- Relay Triathlon: A team version where three participants each complete one leg of the triathlon.
- Aquabike: A 200-yard indoor pool swim followed by a 10-mile bike ride.
- Duathlon: A 2-mile run, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
- 5K Run: A standalone 5K running course.
A dedicated event for children, the Kids Fun Run, takes place on the Saturday prior to the main races. Children run through the official triathlon finish line and receive a finisher medal after completing their course.
Packet pickup is organized at the Riverwinds Community Center lobby on the Saturday afternoon preceding the event and also on the morning of the races.
