Event Overview

The Valkyrie 100 Mile Challenge is a virtual, self-paced activity challenge where participants aim to cover 100 miles. It is open to participants anywhere. The challenge involves logging miles or hours, which can be done online, in a notebook, or on a calendar. There is no time limit for completion.

Participation & Activities

Miles can be accumulated through various activities. Acceptable activities include walking, running, hiking, biking, riding a horse, ground driving a horse, or driving a carriage. Arena riding also counts if done in a standard to large arena. Participants can use more than one horse for their miles, but they receive only one set of completion items per registration.

Tracking & Rules

Progress is tracked from the day of sign-up; miles are not retroactive. Online tracking on the event page is optional; participants may also use a fitness app, calendar, or notebook. The challenge is described as a personal goal, not a race, so there are no official placings.

Completion Items

Upon completing 100 miles, participants receive a commemorative package. This includes a custom medal designed specifically for the challenge featuring a pegasus. The medal has a stained-glass appearance with transparent areas. The package also contains a dog tag, a sticker, and an embroidered patch.

Registration & Logistics

The registration price includes shipping to addresses within the USA. International participants can join but may face longer shipping times and need to pay additional shipping costs via PayPal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
