Stafford Race for HOPE Triathlon, Duathlon, & Aquabike
The Stafford Race for HOPE is a multisport event held in Manahawkin Lake Park, Manahawkin, NJ on June 14, 2026. The program includes individual and relay options for triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike, with all events starting and finishing at Manahawkin Lake Park III.
Registration and packet pickup are digital; athletes must pick up their own packets and present photo ID. Annual USAT members must present their membership ID. Race-day registration and packet pickup are available on site if permitted by the organizers. T-shirts are provided to the first 200 entries and a custom finisher medal is given to all multisport finishers.
Course information:
- Swim takes place in a fresh water lake; waves are separated by three minutes.
- Bike course is currently modified until bridge work is complete.
- Run is an out and back along the lake road through Deer Lake Park.
Distances:
- Triathlon: 1/4 mile swim, 12 mile bike, 5k run
- Duathlon: 2 mile run, 12 mile bike, 5k run
- Aquabike: 1/4 mile swim, 12 mile bike
Awards are given for top overall finishers and age group divisions, plus Clydesdale and Athena categories and relay awards. USAT membership is required for multisport participants and wetsuit rules apply based on water temperature. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
