Event overview
The 30th Anniversary Jersey Genesis Triathlon, Duathlon, & Aquabike is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Port Republic, New Jersey. All events start and finish at Harry Bowen Memorial Park, 141 Main Street, Port Republic, NJ 08241. The event includes individual and relay options and is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and Club Challenge. Multisport participants must hold an active USAT membership that is valid through the end of their event. Registration is digital and athletes must pick up their own packets with photo ID. Packet pickup is available the day before and on race day.
Courses and distances
The swim takes place at Port Republic Beach on the Mullica River watershed; the water is described as calm and clean with very little current. The bike is an out-and-back route on traffic-controlled country roads. The run is a loop through Port Republic on traffic-controlled roads with three water stops. Waves for swims are staggered; waves are 1-3 minutes apart (1/2 mile swim waves 3 minutes apart, 1/4 mile swim waves 1 minute apart).
- Triathlon (1/2 mi swim): 1/2 mile swim, 16 mile bike, 4 mile run
- Triathlon (1/4 mi swim): 1/4 mile swim, 16 mile bike, 4 mile run
- Duathlon: 2 mile run, 16 mile bike, 4 mile run
- Aquabike: 1/2 mile swim, 16 mile bike
Rules and awards
USAT wetsuit rules apply; water temperature readings are listed as TBD. Photo ID is required for all athletes. Drafting limits, helmet and transition rules, and a prohibition on headphones are enforced. Awards include overall cash prizes and age-group prizes; prize amounts vary by event.
