Seafair Triathlon
The Seafair Triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Seward Park on the shores of Lake Washington in Seattle. The event offers multiple race formats for adults and children, held along a course that uses park trails and nearby roadways.
Swims take place in the protected cove of Andrews Bay with counter-clockwise triangular laps for sprint and super sprint distances; lifeguards are onsite. Bike courses travel along Lake Washington Boulevard and through waterfront neighborhoods, with one hill on the route. The run course is a single loop around Seward Park with an out-and-back to the park's upper loop before finishing at the south parking area. Roads used for the bike course are closed or protected for participants.
The transition area is supervised and restricted to registered participants. Bikes must be racked by race number on race morning; bike mechanics will be available in the transition zone. Team relay members and individual duathlon participants receive finisher medals.
Included for participants are a Seafair Triathlon participant shirt, event finisher medal for adults and kids, a timing chip, swim cap, unique race bib, and downloadable participant photos. Team registrations provide a shirt and medal for each member.
