Rhoades McKee Reeds Lake Triathlon 2026

The Rhoades McKee Reeds Lake Triathlon is an annual multisport event held on the shores of Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. This event marks its 42nd year and features several different disciplines centered around the lake and surrounding area. Participants can choose from a variety of race formats including a triathlon, duathlon, aqua bike, and a standalone swim.

The event includes the following distance options:

  • Sprint Triathlon: a 750 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run.
  • Sprint Duathlon: a 5 km run, 20 km bike, and a second 5 km run.
  • Sprint Aqua Bike: a 750 m swim followed by a 20 km bike.
  • Sprint Relay: a 750 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run for teams of two or three.
  • Swim: a standalone 750 m swim.

High-performance athletes can participate in the Elite Sprint Championship wave. The event is supported by the law firm Rhoades McKee, which has been the title sponsor since 2007.
