Event Information

The Post Falls Triathlon/Duathlon includes four events: Individual Sprint Triathlon, Team Sprint Triathlon, Individual Duathlon, and Team Duathlon. It is open to participants aged 14 and over.

Distances & Courses

  • Sprint Triathlon: A 0.3-mile swim at Q’emiln Beach, a 12-mile bike ride, and a 3-mile run.
  • Duathlon: A 1.3-mile run, followed by the same bike course as the triathlon, and a concluding 3.1-mile run.

The bike course begins at Q’emiln Park, goes west on Riverview Drive to the Idaho-Washington border, and returns via the Centennial Trail. Both the triathlon run and the duathlon runs are out-and-back courses from Q’emiln Park to Falls Park.

Logistics & Services

The start, finish, and transition area are at Q’emiln Park in Post Falls. Parking is available on-site. Chip timing is provided. Snacks and an award ceremony follow the race.

Packet pickup is available on Friday at Post Falls City Hall, Saturday afternoon at Q’emiln Park, and on race morning at the park. Photo ID is required, and participants must show a USA Triathlon membership card or purchase a one-day pass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
