myTeam Triumph Westport Triathlon
The myTeam Triumph Westport Triathlon is a multisport event held at Compo Beach in Westport, Connecticut. This competition, which was previously known as the Kiwanis Westport Triathlon, is open to participants of all ability levels. The event features a point to point swim conducted at the beach.
The bike and run portions of the course take place on the streets of the Compo Beach neighborhood. These courses are flat and shorter in distance, intended to accommodate participants racing together. Registration options are available for various categories:
- Individual Triathlon
- Youth Individual Triathlon
- Relay (Team captain and team member options)
The event includes an awards ceremony for relay teams and winners within specific age groups. This ceremony takes place at the Compo Beach Pavilion. Participants have access to post-race activities on the beach, including breakfast and massage services provided at the finish area. Timing chips are used for all participants to record race results, which are posted following the conclusion of the event.
