Kids Rock Triathlon & Duathlon : Penllyn, PA

The Kids Rock Triathlon & Duathlon is a youth multisport event scheduled for June 13, 2026, at The Penllyn Club, 525 Gwynedd Avenue, Penllyn, PA 19422. The program offers both triathlon (swim, bike, run) and duathlon (run, bike, run) formats for children aged 5 to 15 and aims to promote multisport participation and healthy family activity.

The swim for the triathlon takes place in an outdoor pool with lifeguards. A dedicated transition area is provided for gear changes and bike staging; the transition area will be staffed by ten event crew members.

Triathlon distances by age:

  • Ages 5-7: Swim 25 yards, Bike 2 miles, Run 0.35 mile
  • Ages 8-9: Swim 50 yards, Bike 2 miles, Run 0.35 mile
  • Ages 10-11: Swim 100 yards, Bike 2 miles, Run 0.75 mile
  • Ages 12-15: Swim 100 yards, Bike 3.5 miles, Run 0.75 mile

Duathlon distances by age:

  • Ages 6-7: Run 0.40 mile, Bike 2 miles, Run 0.25 mile
  • Ages 8-9: Run 0.40 mile, Bike 2 miles, Run 0.25 mile
  • Ages 10-11: Run 0.9 mile, Bike 2 miles, Run 0.75 mile
  • Ages 12-15: Run 0.9 mile, Bike 3.5 miles, Run 0.75 mile

Awards are distributed by age group. Each finisher receives a medal; athletes who register by the deadline receive a tie-dye event T-shirt. The event does not offer refunds or transfers, and awards or shirts are not mailed after the event.
