K-Town on the River Triathlons takes place Saturday, August 1, 2026 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The event is based at Suttree's Landing, 1001 Waterfront Dr, Knoxville, TN 37920. Multiple race formats are offered across sprint, Olympic, and half-iron distances, plus duathlon, aquabike, and mixed-relay categories.

Events, course and policies

  • Sprint - downstream swim finishing at Suttree's Landing dock; 14 Mi bike; 5k run.
  • Olympic - 1900 m downstream swim; 25 Mi bike; 10k run.
  • Half-Iron - starts with a brief upstream segment then downstream swim; 56 Mi bike; 13.1 Mi run.

The sprint swim finishes at Suttree's dock. Bike routes travel through Island Home and South Knoxville roads and countryside. Runs follow riverside paths and the Will Skelton Greenway, passing landmarks such as Meads Quarry and the Forks of the River. The half-iron distance has an overall race cut-off of 8.5 hours and a separate bike cut-off.

Event services include early on-site packet pickup, a transition area that opens the day of the race, shuttles to the swim start, a race briefing at the swim start, awards ceremonies for each distance, and a finish-line expo.
