Course and logistics
The swim takes place in the Tennessee River on a short loop that returns to the swim finish. Bike routes follow Riverside Drive into East Knoxville with rolling terrain. The run uses the greenway along the river, passing the Star of Knoxville riverboat launch, Volunteer Landing and the marina, and finishes at Riverside Park. Packet pickup is available on the day before the race at Ned McWherter Park, with additional packet pickup and transition access on race day. Parking is available at Ned McWherter Park under the bridge and in an adjacent overflow lot. Course maps are provided and are subject to change by city and county officials.
