Event overview
The 16th Annual Fawn Lake Adult and Youth Triathlons take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Spotsylvania, Virginia (11305 Longstreet Drive, 22551). The event includes adult and youth races and an adult three-person relay. Registration opens March 26, 2026, for listed events.
Distances and events
- Adult: 700 meter swim, 12.4 mile bike, 5 km run
- Youth 10-15: 225 meter swim, 6.2 mile bike, 2 km run
- Youth 6-11: 75 meter swim, 3.1 mile bike, 1 km run
- Adult 3 Person Relay

Logistics and extras
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet Fredericksburg. Race photos are provided free. Participant swag includes medals, water bottles, backpacks, caps, and post-race pizza, beer, and juice. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed after August 5.
Awards and scoring
Awards include custom plaques and medals three deep in all age groups. Special awards recognize a course record and the Fastest Family. The Fastest Family award uses cross-country style scoring based on combined family finish positions.
