Chilly Willy Duathlon : St. Petersburg, FL (Feb 15, 2026)

The Chilly Willy Duathlon is a USAT sanctioned multisport event held at Fort De Soto Park, 3500 Pinellas Bayway S, St. Petersburg, FL on February 15, 2026. The event includes individual and team categories, plus active military divisions and long distance relay options. The race is chip-timed and provides split times for each segment. Awards are given three deep in each age group and to the overall male and female finishers. All athletes receive a long sleeve Chilly Willy shirt. Drafting marshals and appointed staff enforce the event rules. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the race for inclement weather or other emergencies with no refund of entry fees. The event is limited to 500 entries.

Race format and logistics

Distances offered:

  • Short Duathlon: 1 mile run, 10 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
  • Long Duathlon: 3.1 mile run, 19 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

There is a strict cutoff on the long course; athletes who cannot complete the first run and bike before the cutoff must enter the short course. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at PLAYTRI St. Petersburg. Fort De Soto now supports mobile parking payments via the Parkmobile app. The event includes on-course snacks, fruit, and sports drinks.
