Event overview
The Escape From Fort Desoto Triathlon/Duathlon takes place on April 11, 2026, at Fort DeSoto Park, 3500 Pinellas Bayway S., St Petersburg, FL 33715. The event is USAT-sanctioned, chip-timed, and uses split timing for each race segment. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. The field will close at 500 entries. The first 275 registered athletes will receive a new giveaway item. The race course is closed to general traffic during the event.

Packet pick-up is available on the days before the race at PLAYTRI St. Petersburg (2132 Central Ave) and on race morning at Shelter 11 (The Fort). Participants must present photo ID and proof of current USAT membership or purchase a one-day USAT license. One relay team member may pick up all relay packets. Awards include overall and age-group prizes, masters categories, and age-group places through 4th. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
