White Lake Pro-Am Half Triathlon
The White Lake Pro-Am Half Triathlon is a multi-discipline sports event held in White Lake, North Carolina. The event is centered at The Grand Regal at Goldston’s Beach. This competition features a half-iron distance course consisting of a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 13.1-mile run, totaling approximately 70.3 miles.
Participants begin with a swim in the clear, spring-fed waters of White Lake. The body of water is known for having a sandy bottom with no currents, tides, or sudden drops. The cycling portion takes place on a flat, two-loop course utilizing smooth road surfaces. The final segment is a double out-and-back run route that is also flat and includes areas of partial shade.

The professional categories are reserved for athletes holding a USAT Pro License to compete for prize money. The host location is situated within a resort community in Southeastern North Carolina. The area features various accommodation types including hotels, cottages, and RV sites, alongside local dining options and water-based recreational activities. While the half-distance triathlon occurs on Saturday, related international and sprint distance events are held at the same venue on the following Sunday.
