Triathlon and Multi-Sport Events in Downtown Louisville
Tri Louisville is a short-course triathlon event held in Kentucky, now entering its 12th year. The race takes place in an urban setting, featuring a course that passes through downtown Louisville and concludes at Waterfront Park. Participants navigate a route that includes views of the city skyline and finishes at the Brown-Forman Amphitheater.
The event offers several competition formats and distances to accommodate different preferences and team configurations:

In addition to the standard triathlon categories, the event includes Duathlon, Aquabike, and Bike-Run options. The swimming portion of the triathlon takes place in the Ohio River. Following the swim, the cycling and running segments transition through the city's streetscape. Registration is open to various age groups, with the Sprint events open to participants ages 12 or 13 and up, and Olympic distances open to those aged 13 or 15 and up, depending on the specific category.
