Trestle Hustle
The Trestle Hustle is an annual running event held at the High Trestle Trail in Madrid, organized by Boone County Hospital. The 15th edition took place in June 2024, attracting over 100 participants from Iowa and beyond, including a virtual runner from Florida. Athletes competed in various categories, including a 5K, 10K, and Duathlon.
Despite rainy weather, participants enjoyed the cooler conditions. Finishers received medals and other goodies, thanks to local sponsors and volunteers who ensured a successful event.
