Thunder in the Valley
Thunder in the Valley is a USAT-certified multisport event held annually at Hawthorn Park in Terre Haute, Indiana. Celebrating over 40 years, it features a Sprint Triathlon with a 500-meter swim in Hawthorne Lake, a fast 20k bike course with rolling hills, and a shaded, flat 5k run. The Duathlon includes a 1.6k run, 20k bike, and 5k run.
Participants can compete solo or in relay teams. The race is ideal for first-time triathletes and seasoned athletes starting their season.
