The ROC Triathlon
The ROC Triathlon takes place August 21-22, 2026 at Durand Eastman Beach, 1303 Lake Shore Blvd, Rochester, NY. The event is USAT-sanctioned and offers qualifying slots for the National Championships in Sprint and Intermediate distances across several divisions.

The race format features a shallow open-water swim, a closed-to-traffic bike course, and a run along the Lake Ontario and Seabreeze shorelines. Sprint and Intermediate distances qualify athletes by division: High School (Sprint only), Age Group (five-year age bands for Sprint and Intermediate), and Athena/Clydesdale (women above 165 lb, men above 225 lb; Sprint only). Duathlon, AquaBike, and the 5K Run award top finishers without age-group divisions; AquaBike and 5K list top-three awards by gender. The 5K Run and Kids Splash-n-Dash are scheduled for August 21; other events are scheduled for August 22. Prices and registration deadlines vary by event.
