Spring Classic Duathlon & Half Marathon
The Spring Classic is an annual multi-sport and running event held in Vancouver, Washington. The event features a variety of distances and formats, including a duathlon and several road races. The courses are located at Vancouver Lake Regional Park, utilizing the surrounding area for a flat and fast route.
The duathlon is structured as a 5k run, followed by a 12.91 mile bike leg, and finishing with a second 5k run. The cycling portion takes place on smooth pavement with no railroad tracks on the route. Participants can enter the duathlon as individuals or as part of a two-person or three-person relay team.
In addition to the multi-sport options, there are three individual running distances available:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
The running courses are situated along the pancake flats of Vancouver Lake Regional Park. This location serves as the central hub for the start and finish of all events. The venue hosts post-race activities including music, food, and vendors. Parking is included in the registration fees for all participants. Virtual participation options are also provided for the 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, and Duathlon categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
