2026 Shelbyville Triathlon Series : overview
The 2026 Shelbyville Triathlon Series is scheduled to run from March 1 to April 19, 2026 in Shelbyville, KY (717 Burks Branch Rd, 40065). The series comprises three separate races held as a multi-race series. Participants who complete all three races receive a medal. Overall male and female finishers in each race will receive awards. Overall male and female series winners will receive a special award. Age-group awards are given for male and female competitors 14 and under and in five-year increments thereafter. Showers are available at the Family Activity Center.
Courses and race format
The swim for the 400 yd events takes place in the indoor pool at Clear Creek Park's Family Activity Center, with participants swimming a serpentine pattern across the pool. There is a staggered start for Races 2 and 3. The bike courses are described as loops with a few large hills. The run courses are out-and-back routes within the park on firm surfaces.
