Event Overview

The Sharon Triathlon takes place in Sharon, Massachusetts, featuring a course based around Lake Massapoag. The event offers multiple ways to participate, with registration open to individuals and teams. Participants can choose from the following event types:

  • Individual Triathlon
  • Relay Teams
  • Individual AquaBike

The competition begins with a 0.5 mile swim in the clean waters of Lake Massapoag. The swim starts and finishes on the beach, and the use of wetsuits is optional. Following the swim, the bike leg consists of a 12.3 mile single loop. This stage is designed as a time trial on flat roads through the surrounding communities.

The final segment is a 4.4 mile run. The course is flat and shaded, following a loop around the lake past tree-lined homes and scenic views. The race concludes back at the park, where a post-race BBQ is provided for participants.

Parking is available on-site at 1 Beach Street and at the Sharon High School parking lots on Pond Street. The event is open to participants aged 11 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
