Event overview
The 34th Annual Hopkinton Against the Tide takes place on June 20, 2026 at Hopkinton State Park in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. The event is a multi-sport fundraiser for the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC). Funds raised support MBCC education and student programs, including Let’s Talk Prevention and the MBCC webinar series. The event does not allow refunds. Minor participants must have parent or guardian authorization and a signed release and indemnity agreement. Wetsuits are permitted. No pets are allowed on the beach, except service animals. Bibs are available at registration on the morning of the event; there is no early bib pickup.

- 1-mile USMS-sanctioned swim
- 1-mile competitive swim
- 1-mile recreational swim
- ½-mile recreational swim
- 5K USATF-certified run
- 10K USATF-certified run
- 3-mile fitness walk
USATF certification codes are provided for the 5K and 10K. Participants can create or join teams during registration; new teams cannot be created after registration closes. Online registration closes the evening before the event and walk-in registration is available the morning of the event at the registration tent.
