Event Overview
The Playtri Fort Worth Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run I is a multi-sport event taking place on May 17, 2026. It is held at the Marine Creek Public Boat Ramp in Fort Worth, Texas.
Distances and Formats
Participants can choose from several events, each with its own course distances:
- Sprint Triathlon: A 0.3-mile swim, a 12.5-mile bike, and a 5K run.
- Olympic Triathlon: A 1500-meter swim, a 25-mile bike, and a 10K run.
- Run-Bike-Run (Duathlon): A 1-mile run, a 12.5-mile bike, and a 5K run.
Each of these formats is also available as a relay team event. There are also specific collegiate series events for both the Olympic and Sprint distances. A virtual triathlon and duathlon option is offered as well.
Event Details
The event is a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event with a USAT certified race director, which requires participants to have a USAT membership or purchase a one-day license. Participants must be at least 13 years old to enter most events. Participants are responsible for bringing all their own gear, including a bike and helmet.
