Event Overview

Course Details
The triathlon follows the standard sprint distance format. The swim segment covers 750 meters in Lake Davidson. The course is a rectangular shape with an in-water start and finish points approximately 50 yards apart along the shore. The water temperature is historically in the low 80s Fahrenheit, so wetsuits are rarely permitted. The bike course is a 12.7-mile loop starting and ending at the Trane campus. It travels through rural roads in northern Mecklenburg County and is described as moderately hilly. The run segment is a 5K out-and-back course conducted entirely on the Trane Technologies Campus grounds. It is noted as slightly hilly with many turns and limited shade.
Additional Information
