Indy Sprint Tri (July 18) - Indianapolis
The Indy Sprint Tri on July 18, 2026 takes place at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis. It is the first of two races held at this location and offers multiple sprint-distance disciplines on the same day. Competitors must be at least 14 years old on December 31, 2026.
Participants can choose among individual and team options. Event formats and distances include:
- Triathlon - 500m swim, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
- Duathlon - 2 mi run, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
- Aquabike - 500m swim, 10 mi bike
- Triathlon relay (2-3 people) - 500m swim, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
- Duathlon relay (2 people) - 2 mi run, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run
The event provides soft-style shirts; registrants who register by July 9 are guaranteed a shirt in unisex sizing. Awards include overall, age-group and division prizes. A referral refund program returns $5 for every two people who register via a participant's referral link, up to six referrals (maximum $15).
These events are sanctioned by USA Triathlon and follow USAT rules. Competitors are required to hold either an annual USAT membership or a one-day membership; one-day memberships apply to a single event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
