Event overview
The Fall Creek Falls Triathlons take place on August 15, 2026 at Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee. The event program includes three primary triathlon distances and category options such as Age Group, Clydesdale, Athena, Aqua Bike, and Relay. Weekend events continue Sunday, August 16 with a half marathon, 10K and 5K run.

- Calfkiller Sprint: 500 m swim, 22 km bike, 5 km run
- Olympic: 0.93 mile (1.5 km) swim, 24.8 mile (40 km) bike, 6.2 mile (10 km) run
- Half Iron: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run
Course and logistics
Packet pickup is available Friday afternoon at the tent on the east ball field and on race morning at the race site. The Half Iron bike course provides Deer Park 700 ml water bottles at mile 24 and mile 39 turnarounds; there is no bike aid for the Olympic or Sprint courses. Run aid stations supply water and Gatorade on two tables per station, one for athlete cups and one for volunteers or coolers. The Half Iron course uses two loops and passes aid stations 12 times; the Olympic course is one loop passing aid five times; the Sprint is an out-and-back passing aid twice.
Awards, sanction and policies
Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and top three masters. Age group awards are given to first through third place in multiple male and female age brackets (12-15 through 70+), plus top three Clydesdale and Athena and relay divisions. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and requires either a one-day license or an annual membership. Bald Eagle Events LLC has a no-refund policy; event insurance is offered during registration.
