Coveathlon #2
The Coveathlon is a multisport and running event located at 1131 Bay Back Drive in Newport Beach, California. The event offers a variety of swimming and running distances for participants to choose from. Each individual race is limited to a maximum of 250 athletes.
Participants can select from the following event categories:
- 1K Swim + 5K Run (6K total)
- 1K Swim + 5K Run Relay (6K total)
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- 1K Swim
The swimming portion of the multisport events is organized into five distinct waves. These cohorts are divided by gender and age groups: Men 49 and under, Men 50+, Women 49 and under, and Women 50+, with one wave dedicated to co-ed fast swimmers.
All participants receive chips for timing and live results. Registration includes a race t-shirt, a silicone swim cap for those in swimming events, and access to race photography. Athletes who complete all four races in the series receive a special edition long-sleeve t-shirt. Awards are presented after every race to overall male and female winners and top finishers in various age group and relay categories.
