Event overview
The Blackland Triathlon and Blackland Youth Tri is scheduled for Monday, September 7, 2026, at Oak Point Recreation Center in Plano, Texas (6000 Jupiter Road, 75074). The event day includes adult and youth multisport races and concludes with a Labor Day picnic. The program includes swim, bike and run combinations, plus duathlon and aquathlon options.

Race categories listed include a Blackland Triathlon Training Program, Try a Tri distance, Sprint Triathlon, Sprint Athena/Clydesdale Triathlon, Sprint Duathlon, Sprint Aquabike, Sprint Aquathlon, Sprint Tri Relay (teams of 2 or 3), Adaptive Sprint Triathlon Division, Youth Triathlon (Junior and Senior), Youth Splash & Dash (Junior and Senior), and Adaptive Youth Triathlon. The training program is priced at $295 and is open to ages 18-99; registration for that program ends July 11, 2026. Other published entry fees include $60 for Try a Tri, $70 for Sprint Triathlon, $60 for Sprint Aquabike, $45 for Sprint Aquathlon, $150 for Sprint Tri Relay, $45 for youth triathlons, and $30 for youth splash & dash.
