June 2026
Tri Nikiski in Nikiski, Alaska stages an untimed triathlon on June 27, 2026 with adult and kids divisions. The adult course is a 500 yard swim, 10.6 mile bike and a 5 km run, and relay teams can be two or three people.
Eagle River Triathlon in Chugiak, Alaska hosts the 2026 Alaska State Championship for Olympic and Sprint triathlons, plus duathlon, relay and kids races on pool swims and out-and-back bike routes near the Chugach range.

April 2027
A 100 mile winter loop near Fairbanks that can be run, skied, or biked. Competitors have 40 hours to complete a remote route with aid stations about every 20 miles and must demonstrate recent winter backcountry experience.
