The majority of the bike course is on trails around Hagg Lake. The run course is mostly on trails. For the Full Triathlon and Duathlon, a mountain bike is required. The Super Sprint allows any non-electric bike. The Super Sprint swim follows the shoreline and competitors may touch shore if needed; life vests are permitted.
Logistics and policies
Onsite registration is available during Friday packet pickup and on the morning of the race. Camping is allowed at Hagg Lake for the night before the race; fees apply per vehicle and per person and check-in occurs during packet pickup. There are no refunds on entry fees, though transfers and limited exceptions are noted. There is a course cutoff at 1:30 pm; athletes continuing past that time will receive no official time and course support will end. Relays are permitted.
