Walk Run or Roll for Daniel : Colorado Springs, May 2, 2026
This is the eighth annual community event held in Colorado Springs on May 2, 2026. The event honors a young person who died in June 2025, days before his 18th birthday, after a battle with brain cancer. Funds raised will be presented to Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation to support pediatric brain cancer research and patient care.
Participants can choose among walking, running, or cycling routes. Start and finish are located at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. An after-party will follow the main activities at the same venue. Lodging is available at the bicycle resort for those traveling from out of town or staying locally.

- 15 mile bike ride
- 5 km walk or run
- Kids 15 and under 15 mile bike ride
- Kids 15 and under 5 km walk or run
The event includes separate youth categories for the bike and walk/run distances. Registration fees vary by event and increase after a specified date. Local sponsors and community partners support the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
