UP Northwoods Triathlon

The UP Northwoods Triathlon, held in Iron Mountain, Michigan at Lake Antoine Park, offers a scenic and challenging race experience in the beautiful Northwoods. Participants can choose from several events including Sprint Individual, Sprint Relay, Duathlon Individual, Youth Event (ages 6-12), and Olympic Individual. The courses feature swims in Lake Antoine, with the Sprint swim at 500 meters and the Olympic at 1500 meters.

The bike routes are hilly and picturesque, circling the lake and extending onto Trader's Mine Road, with distances of 13 miles for Sprint and 26 miles for Olympic. Runs range from 5K to 10K, taking runners through campgrounds, lakeside paths, and Iron Mountain streets. Finishers receive medals, swim caps, and early registrants get a T-shirt.
