Event overview
The Tupelo Sprint Triathlon is held in Tupelo, Mississippi in April 2026 and includes two event entries: an individual sprint triathlon and a triathlon relay. The triathlon format uses a pool swim, a road bike leg, and a run. Distances for the swim, bike, and run are:

Logistics and rules
Registration fees follow a tiered schedule: $60 (New Year’s Day), $75 (1/2-2/28), $80 (3/1-3/31), $90 (4/1-4/15), and $100 (4/16-4/22). The event is chip timed. Packet pickup is available the day before at Trails and Treads (3870 Market Center Drive Suite #200). The transition area has been moved to the east side of the aquatic center near the JT Neely building.
Key rules and race operations: helmets approved by the CPSC are mandatory on the bike; non-annual USA Triathlon members must purchase a one-day license; every relay member must be a USAT member; headphones and personal audio devices are prohibited; athletes must wear visible race numbers during the run. There is one water stop about halfway through the run and a vehicle will follow the last cyclist. T-shirt and jacket availability is not guaranteed for registrations after April 6.
