Event Overview

Tri the Park Tarrytown is a youth triathlon held at Pierson Park. The competition is open to participants between the ages of 6 and 16. The event features a multistage format consisting of a swim in a pool, followed by a bike segment on a closed loop, and concludes with a run through the park. Participants receive a finisher medal upon completing the course.

Course Options

There are two distinct distances available for participants depending on their preference:

  • Long Course: 100 m swim, 2 mi bike, and 0.5 mi run.
  • Short Course: 50 m swim, 1 mi bike, and 0.25 mi run.

The courses are designed for athletes to finish within a timeframe of 10 to 30 minutes. Equipment and apparel details include an event T-shirt, which is guaranteed for those who register by the specified deadline in June. For later registrants, shirts are provided based on remaining availability.
