Course and logistics

The course uses a mix of single-track mountain biking, navigation through forests and over mountains, and wilderness packrafting. Organizers will provide pre-plotted maps and include strategic route-planning elements. Many checkpoints on the course will be optional; a smaller number of mandatory checkpoints are set to keep teams together at the finish. Boats and packrafts will not be provided by the race organization; teams are required to supply their own packrafts. A post-race feed is provided. The 2026 edition takes place in a new region of Adirondack National Park territory. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
