Course format and rules
The event is planned to run about 8-10 hours; the final allowed time will be confirmed after the course is finalized. The race accepts solo racers and teams of 2-4. Participants will trek, bike and navigate the course; due to the winter season there will be no paddling. Organizers anticipate roughly half of the course time on foot and half on bike, though actual time depends on team speed and route choices. All checkpoints are optional and all transition areas (TAs) are mandatory. Teams may complete as much or as little of the course as they wish within the allowed time.
