2nd Annual TALI Sadlers Creek Off-Road Duathlon
The TALI Sadlers Creek Off-Road Duathlon takes place at Sadlers Creek State Park in Anderson, South Carolina. This multi-sport event features a combination of trail running and off-road cycling. The competition is open to various age groups and experience levels, providing a different format than traditional road-based triathlons.
The adult sprint distance is divided into three segments. The first leg consists of a 5k trail run on wide single-track paths leading toward the boat ramp. Participants then transition to the bike leg, which follows the water's edge and passes through wooded areas near the camping grounds and Persimmon Beach. This cycling portion involves several loops through the woods and can be completed on either a mountain bike or a gravel bike. The final segment is a 2.5k trail run that concludes near the park office.

The youth event follows a modified format consisting of a 1-mile trail run, a 3-mile mountain bike ride, and a final 1-mile run. The transition area for all events is located in a grassy field near the main park office. Registration fees include the park admission price for athletes.
