The Splashland Triathlon, held annually in Alamosa, Colorado, is a sprint triathlon featuring a 3.2-mile run, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 400-yard swim in a geothermal swimming pool. This event welcomes individual competitors as well as teams of two or three, with age group awards and overall prizes for male, female, and team categories. It offers a beginner-friendly atmosphere and is the third leg in a four-race series, taking place at Splashland Swimming Pool on Colorado State Highway 17. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
