The Spa Girl Tri San Antonio marks its 15th anniversary at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa. This multisport event features several race formats including triathlons, duathlons, aquabikes, and a 5k run. Course Details

The swim portion takes place in the resort's lazy river with the water jets turned off. The cycling segment consists of loops on the local TPC Parkway, characterized by smooth surfaces and a single hill located near the transition area. The running course traverses the resort grounds, featuring views of the landscape and waterfalls before concluding on the grand lawn.

Available Distances

The event offers a variety of categories for individual participants and relay teams:

  • Sprint Triathlon: 800 m swim, 15 mile bike, and 3.1 mile (5k) run.
  • Super Sprint Triathlon: 400 m swim, 10 mile bike, and 2 mile run.
  • Lite Triathlon: 325 m swim, 6 mile bike, and 2 mile run.
  • Duathlon: Available in Super (bike and run) and Sprint (bike and run) formats.
  • AquaBike: Combines swimming and cycling across Super and Sprint distances.
  • Splash & Dash: Swimming and running events in Super and Sprint categories.
  • 5k Run: A standalone 3.1 mile running race.
  • Relay Teams: Options for 2-person or 3-person teams to complete the triathlon.
