About the race
The Shaver Lake Mile High Triathlon, held at Camp Edison in Shaver Lake, California, is Fresno County's longest-running multisport event. Set in crisp mountain air at altitude, it offers a challenging and scenic experience with Sprint and Olympic distance options. The Sprint includes an 800-yard swim, 11.4-mile bike, and 3.1-mile run, while the Olympic features a 1600-yard swim, 23-mile bike, and 6.2-mile run.
Additional events include aquabike, aquathlon, duathlon, relays, and 5K/10K runs, plus virtual race options. Participants enjoy a bottle opener finisher’s medal, event shirt, prizes, free photos, post-race food, beverages, and music, creating a festive and supportive atmosphere.
