Event overview
The Sebago Lake Triathlon takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at St. Joseph's College in Standish, ME. The event offers multiple race formats: Olympic Triathlon, Olympic Aquabike, Olympic Relay, Sprint Triathlon, Sprint Duathlon, Sprint Relay, Virtual Triathlon, and Virtual Duathlon. Most in-person events are open to athletes age 13 and older; the Sprint Duathlon lists an age range of 13 to 99.

Logistics, timing and rules
Races start from Sebago Lake with transitions adjacent to the finish near Xavier Hall on campus. Professional chip timing records swim, bike, run, T1, T2, and finish; each athlete or relay team wears a timing chip on the ankle. Relay handoffs must occur at the designated bike rack spot and follow specific racking and tagging procedures. The race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon; nonmembers must purchase a one-day USAT membership as part of registration. Packet pickup requires photo ID.
Awards and weather policy
Awards include top overall male and female, age-group awards in five-year bands, aquabike awards, Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and top relays by division. There is no rain date; organizers may modify, cancel, or convert the event to virtual for safety reasons.
