Rock the Quarry Triathlon and Mile Swim

The Rock the Quarry Triathlon and Mile Swim takes place on August 8, 2026 at Fidler Pond Park in Goshen, Indiana. The event is held at a pond that was formerly a rock quarry and is open for swimming to the public only on this day.

Event options include individual and team entries. The sprint triathlon consists of a 500 yard open-water swim on a triangular counter clockwise course that begins and ends at the same point, a 15.8-mile flat out and back bike route that passes through an industrial park and then into the country toward Millersburg, and a 5K run made up of two laps on the flat aggregate track that encircles Fidler Pond. The course layout allows runners to see other competitors and offers multiple spectator viewing areas.

The Mile Swim is a one-mile open-water event set on a counter clockwise course that traces the pond perimeter. Mile swimmers are chip timed, with timing ending when the swimmer crosses a timing mat on land at the swim exit.

The event listing includes individual, two person team, and three person team entries, and takes place at Fidler Pond Park, 1424 E Lincolnway, Goshen, IN 46526. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
