Reston Triathlon

The Reston Triathlon, held annually in Reston, Virginia, is a well-established Olympic-distance event featuring a 1500-meter open water swim in Lake Audubon, a 25-mile bike ride, and a 10K run on local paths. Since its inception in 1984, it has attracted athletes nationwide and is affectionately known as the Reston Triathlon World Championship. After a brief hiatus due to financial challenges during the pandemic, the event was revived by the CORE Foundation in 2023.
