Event overview
Raid the Rock takes place on December 20-21, 2025 in Central Arkansas, based in Little Rock, AR. The event offers two timed race options:
- 8 hour course
- 24 hour course
Format and course
Each race includes trekking/running, mountain biking, and paddling; a ropes section may be included if the location allows. Navigation with a map and compass is required for all courses. Organizers provide maps and shared canoe equipment, including personal flotation devices and paddles.
Teams, divisions and requirements
Racers may enter as solo, two-person, three-person, or four-person teams. Four-person teams have subdivisions: Premier, Masters, and Open. The Premier and Masters subdivisions are for three- or four-person co-ed teams on the 24 hour course only. To qualify for the Masters subdivision, every team member must be at least 40 years old. Solo entrants must submit a race resume before registering. Support crews are optional for all races.
Registration and inclusions
Registration opens March 24. The posted tiered fees for the 8 hour course range from $100 (early) to $200 (late); the 24 hour course fees range from $225 (early) to $325 (late). Registration closes in mid-December. Entry fees include a race shirt, a post-race meal for each team member and two support crew members, maps, and use of the provided canoe, PFDs, and paddles.
