Pioneer Spirit Triathlon - Challenge
The Pioneer Spirit Triathlon, held in Petersburg, IL, features a variety of events including a 5k run/walk, mini triathlon, sprint triathlon, and a tri-challenge. This mid-spring event caters to both novice and experienced triathletes, offering a heated indoor pool swim, cycling, and running segments. The mini triathlon consists of a 100-yard swim, 5-mile bike ride, and 1-mile run, while the sprint includes a 300-yard swim, 13-mile bike ride, and 3.1-mile run.
