Packet pickup is mandatory the day before the race at Camp Texlake. Onsite lodging at Camp Texlake is offered by bed for a reservation fee; the fee includes park entry, parking, and breakfast. The closest airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, about 42 miles and one hour by car to Pace Bend Park. Parking is allowed in Camp Texlake parking lots.

Mandatory items provided by the race include a colored swim cap, number bibs, timing chip, and a Restube for solo racers.
