Northeast Park Duathlon

The Northeast Park Duathlon, held in Gibsonville, North Carolina, is the kickoff event for the state's multisport season, scheduled for February 28, 2026. This sprint-distance duathlon features a 1.6-mile run, a 10.5-mile bike ride, and a final 1.6-mile run. The course offers a flat, fast run segment paired with a short but challenging bike course, ideal for athletes looking to test their winter training.

Participants can compete individually or in various categories including relay, Clydesdale, Masters Clydesdale, Athena, and collegiate divisions. Instead of a traditional race shirt, finishers receive a unique NE Park DU ski cap. The event is part of Trivium’s Multisport Series and follows USA Triathlon competitive rules.
