Lake Nighthorse Triathlon

The Lake Nighthorse Triathlon, held in Durango, Colorado, offers both Sprint and Olympic distance races. The Sprint includes a 750-meter swim in Lake Nighthorse, a 20-kilometer bike ride featuring hilly terrain with some steep climbs, and a 5-kilometer run on mostly flat, rolling natural dirt and gravel surfaces with scenic lake views. The Olympic distance doubles these distances with a 1500-meter swim, 40-kilometer bike, and 10-kilometer run, following two laps of the Sprint course.
