Event
The Labor Day Triathlon is organized by the South Davis Race Series and takes place in Bountiful, Utah on September 2, 2026. The event offers both a sprint and a novice triathlon, held in true triathlon order: swim, bike, run. The swim portions take place in the facility lap pool.
Distances
- Sprint: 350 yard swim, 12 mile bike, 3.35 mile run
- Novice: 150 yard swim, 2.4 mile bike, 1.5 mile run
Course and rules
The transition area is shared by both distances and is operated as a closed transition - all bikes and equipment must be in place before the transition closes and participants may not re-enter once they leave. Helmets are required for the bike leg. The bike course is not closed to traffic; participants must follow all traffic laws, including stopping for stop lights, trains, and stop signs. Course maps are provided for download. The sprint run course includes an aid station near Porter Lane and Main with water, Gatorade, and first aid.
